About Us
New Aspects of Software helps enterprises leverage technology to build great systems. We provide consulting and training for development and integration projects and application architecture. We are focused on integrating Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP) with lightweight Java, to build more adaptable software.
New Aspects is working with some great customers to build on technologies like AspectJ, Spring, Hibernate, Apache Axis, Apache, Tomcat and other leading containers. Many of the best known authors and speakers on AOP work with New Aspects.
Some of our recent projects include:
- Deliver fine-grained application security using Aspect-Oriented Programming
- Update application to become a product line with variability in services, user-interface, and protocols using Aspect-Oriented Programming and Inversion of Control
- Monitor user interactions in a rich client application using Aspect-Oriented Programming
- Create service-oriented architecture integration strategy
- Develop a new application architecture integrating rich client applications with a document-oriented Web services
- Develop and apply application performance management using AOP and JMX
We offer a variety of services to improve application architecture, to deliver systems, and to train and mentor IT staff on new technologies and techniques. Our development methodology balances agility with discipline.
We were founded by Ron Bodkin in 2001 to help organizations develop software better, based on the opportunity to use aspects to go beyond traditional application frameworks. Since then, the industry has begun to awaken to the opportunity of combining aspects, Inversion of Control, and annotations to radically improve software. The maturing of open source technology presents great opportunities, but it makes it even more important to pick components carefully and to integrate effectively.
